Sweet as pie...or should we say...Sweet as COOKIES!!

The Crunelle family has the privilege of becoming friends with Emerson’s parents through a coworker of Amie Crunelle.

Here is Emerson’s story:

Emerson is a 10 year old who was diagnosed with anaphylaxis to tree nuts. when she was just 2 years old after eating a few pistachios.

From that moment on her parents had to be extremely careful where they ate, what they ate, what was being eaten around them. Emerson loves a sweet treat, but they always had to take something with them, baked goods and desserts are hard to come by without cross contamination of nuts.

Emerson over the years developed a love for cooking and baking with her mother, Cody. At the age of 7, Emerson and her mom created a chocolate chip cookie recipe that caught the taste buds of several of their friends. Emerson came up with the idea of selling them in individually wrapped packages for convenience and ease.

While her parents did not expect the cookies to really take off they supported her idea and watched it spread like wildfire into the local community!

Here we are now only months later with over 5,500 cookies sold and baking out of our state certified home kitchen! We hope you will try out our cookies, whether a sweet treat for yourself, a birthday party, a friend, or a gift they are perfect for every occasion for anyone with or without allergies!
